Biography
Grace Cousins is a litigation attorney, maintaining a civil litigation practice
defending both individuals and corporations in state and federal actions.
Grace’s practice focuses primarily on defending claims for premises
liability, commercial automobile accidents, products liability, dram shop
actions, and industrial accidents involving property damage, personal injury,
and wrongful death. She prides herself in her professionalism, dedication, and
creativity in representing her clients and obtaining the most favorable outcome
for them.
Outside of her busy law practice and professional obligations, Grace spends her
time training with her German Shepherds, showing Maine Coons, and competing
with her Paint horses around the country.
Representative Experience
- Won a 12(b)6 Motion to Dismiss with Prejudice all extra-contractual claims against
an insurance carrier in a UM/UIM case
- Obtained a non-suit on behalf of a saddle maker in a products liability lawsuit
- Obtained non-suit on behalf of an apartment complex in a personal injury lawsuit
- Negotiated favorable settlements on behalf of clients in personal injury litigation
- Represented owners and managers of apartment complexes, hotels, stores, spas,
restaurants, and other commercial properties in general premises liability and
negligent security litigation
- Represented national products retailers in product liability and personal injury claims
- Represented professional truck drivers and several long-haul, regional, and local
trucking companies in defense of claims made for negligent hiring, training,
supervision, retention, and violations of Federal Motor Carrier Safety
